Cross-country skiing
Cross-country skiing on the ‘Hochmoorloipe’: The sunny Hochmoorloipe at 1,200 metres above sea level at Pass Thurn can be reached in around 15 minutes by car.
The cosy Hochmoorstüberl invites you to rest and relax.
Cross-country skiing on the snow-sure Hochmoorloipe trail, 22 kilometres long, in a beautiful, nature-protected landscape with impressive views of the 3000-metre peaks of the Hohe Tauern National Park. The Hochmoorloipe trail is illuminated and can therefore also be used in the evening. With a total length of over 200 kilometres, the Pinzga trail stretches through the Salzach Valley. Two ski schools will introduce you to the art of skiing and cross-country skiing. There is a free ski bus for all skiers and cross-country skiers.

The main attraction for cross-country skiers is the Pinzga Trail, which connects all the villages and allows you to ski across the entire valley at your leisure. The Finkau Trail on the Gerlos Pass and the Gletscherblick Trail in Hochkrimml are particularly demanding. The Hochmoor Trail on the Pass Thurn also offers particularly reliable snow conditions.
