The toboggan is one of the oldest winter sports equipment in the Alps – simply a classic! To this day, it is great fun for young and old alike to toboggan down specially constructed or existing trails into the valleys of the Salzburg region. Many tracks are illuminated, but you can also toboggan romantically by torchlight or moonlight.
Fast-paced tobogganing on the natural toboggan run is great fun for the whole family.

Bramberg/Wildkogel:

The Wildkogelbahn cable car takes you up to one of the longest toboggan runs in the world.

After a short walk and a magnificent panoramic view of the many three-thousand-metre peaks of the Hohe Tauern and the ‘highest Salzburg mountain’, the Großvenediger (3,674 m), you can set off on the toboggan run! On a family-friendly 14-kilometre track, tobogganers descend an incredible 1,300 metres down to Bramberg. The return journey to the valley station in Neukirchen is possible with the free ski bus.
