The region became famous thanks to the Pinzgau Tauern Cycle Path, which runs from Krimml to Passau. In recent years, the cycling and mountain biking network has been continuously expanded and now comprises more than 1,000 km of well-marked trails. Numerous cycling events attract enthusiasts from all over the world.
